UAF's science summit work honored

UAF's promotional work on behalf of the 2016 Arctic Science Summit Week received a top award Wednesday evening at the annual Alaska Communicators Exchange in Anchorage.

The Public Relations Society of America Alaska Chapter, which sponsors CommEx, gave UAF first place in the public service campaign category.

Each year, PRSA Alaska recognizes the best public relations campaigns and tactics in Alaska with its Aurora Awards.

Arctic Science Summit Week brought scientists and officials from across the globe to Fairbanks from March 12-18.
