Organizers of Arctic Science Summit Week are seeking volunteers to help events run smoothly and professionally March 12-18 on the Fairbanks campus.

A major international science conference, ASSW is welcoming researchers, policy officials and media from around the world. Students and stakeholders across UAF are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity to meet and work with noteworthy attendees and represent our conference and university.

Anyone who covers three volunteer sessions during ASSW will receive free registration (including meals and parking) for any days they spend time volunteering. They'll also receive exclusive ASSW conference gear.

Further, upper-level or graduate students can volunteer as note takers, giving them the opportunity to learn more about initiatives at the intersection of research, policy and action. Descriptions for conference themes and sessions are available online.

To read about volunteering opportunities and sign up to help us, please visit the ASSW volunteering page. To register as an upper-level or graduate note taker, email ASSW volunteer coordinator Nate Bauer at nbauer@iarc.uaf.edu.
