Apply for UA's teaching scholarships by April 15

Applications for the Teach for Alaska Presidential Scholarship will be accepted until
April 15, 2017.
The $12,000 scholarships aim to boost the number of Alaskans who become teachers. The
money will cover tuition at any University of Alaska campus.
UA is working to increase the local teacher hire rate to 90 percent by 2025.
