April 1: Facility Modification work request

The deadline to submit a Facility Modification or estimate work request for FY12 is April 1, 2012. Existing requests are now in the planning stages or in process, however Facilities Services cannot accept new requests after that date until the new fiscal year begins on July 1.


Some examples of a Facility Modification are as follows:

• Changing the use of a space (ie: from an office to a lab)


• Electrical changes/additions
  


• Relocating walls, doors and windows. etc


• Installation of new equipment


• Renovations of rooms

Please note, those are just a few examples of many requests received.  If you are unsure that your request meets the Facility Modification definition, please contact the Facilities Services Customer Service Center at 474-7000.
