Aluminum can-crushing recycling bins available

The UAF Office of Sustainability is looking for places on the Fairbanks campus to
install recycling bins with aluminum can-crushing tops.
The bins can be picked up from office on the second floor of Lola Tilly Commons.
The limit is two bins per UAF department until they are gone.
The Office of Sustainability will pick up full aluminum bins when called.
Recycling aluminum saves energy and resources. The energy required to produce one
new can is the same as that required for 20 recycled cans. Recycling an aluminum can
saves enough energy to run a television for three hours.
