Support the 2015 Alternative Spring Break team this Friday, Nov. 7, by buying dinner at the Fairbanks Curling Club.

The team will serve dinner from 5:30-8:30 p.m., so visit the club before the Alaska Nanooks vs. Bowling Green hockey game in the nearby Carlson Center. The game begins at 7:07 p.m.

Dinner will be a delicious baked potato bar, salad, steamed veggies, brownies and sweet tea. Dinner is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12.

The Alternative Spring Break program, run by the UAF Leadership, Involvement and Volunteer Experience program, gives students a chance to do hands-on service projects in other communities.  Every year, LIVE takes a group of students on a trip. This year's team will head to Colorado for the week of spring break.
