ALEKS scores valid for one year

April 4, 2019

University Relations

Students who enroll at a math course at UAF must meet the prerequisites for the course. This could be a previous math course or theALEKS placement test. Results of the ALEKS placement test are valid for one year beyond the test date. After one year has elapsed, the scores expire and no longer meet the prerequisite requirement. When that happens, students are required to retake the ALEKS test.

In prior semesters, UAOnline could not distinguish between current and expired scores. Beginning with fall 2019 registration, UAOnline has the ability to allow registration only with ALEKS scores less than one year old.
