The University of Alaska Fairbanks is now accepting applications for the Alaska Teen Leadership Summit, a weeklong summer residential camp for high school students on the Fairbanks campus.

Previously called the Summer Leadership Institute, the summit is designed to develop leadership skills in students finishing ninth through 12th grades. Students will learn about communication, setting goals, decision making, ethics, social responsibility and more, while discovering their own leadership strengths and earning two college credits. The total program cost is $450, which includes tuition, housing and meals. Some scholarships are available.

The application deadline is April 10. For more information about this program or to apply, visit www.atlasuaf.com, call 907-474-5942 or info@atlasuaf.com.
