Alaska Airlines plans Nanook-themed plane photo op

Alaska_Nanooks_rgb.f2 The public can get an up-close look at Alaska Airlines'  Bombardier Q400 turboprop aircraft specially painted with the UAF mascot and school colors Saturday, March 1, from noon–1 p.m. at the Sadler Business Plaza, 5904 Old Airport Road.

The aircraft was painted at no cost to the university and will fly primarily between Anchorage and Fairbanks and Anchorage and Kodiak when the carrier introduces the 76-seat Q400 to the state of Alaska on March 3.

Bring your camera and get a photo with the plane.

Light refreshments will be provided by Alaska Airlines.
