The Alaska Bering Sea Crabbers hosted a science symposium
to August 24 to showcase the work of the Alaska King Crab Research, Rehabilitation and Biology (AKCRRAB) program. Aluutiq Pride Hatchery manager Jeff Hetrick and
science team members Ginny Eckert, David Tallmon and Bob Foy discussed the
progress that they, with their students and associates, have made toward potential future
releases of hatchery-raised king crab larvae to enhance depleted wild stocks. Presentations are available on the Alaska Sea Grant website.
