The University of Alaska is offering students training in prevention of alcohol abuse and sexual assault. Students who complete the training will be entered in drawings for prizes.

The online training is provided by EverFi, a private education technology company that  certifies students in critical skills.

Incoming UAF students under the age of 26, as well as several specific populations within the overall student body, will be notified of the training availability. All students are able to find the training in UAOnline.

Students who complete part 1 of the alcohol and sexual assault trainings by Sept. 11 will be entered into a drawing for one of two Block 30 meal plans and two parking permits. Forty-five days later, they will receive invitations to complete part 2. Students who complete part 2 by Oct. 30 will be entered into a drawing for two Alaska Airline tickets, valid anywhere Alaska Airlines flies.
