Imbler receives Rising Star Award

Ross Imbler, director of annual giving at the UAF Office of Development and Alumni
Relations, received the Rising Star Award in philanthropy from the Council for Advancement
and Support of Education, District VIII.The awards go to outstanding individuals with 3 to 5 years experience in the advancement field.
Imbler earned degrees at UAF in 2008 and 2010. Before becoming director, he worked as the UAF annual giving coordinator. He has done a remarkable job of growing the program, with annual revenue increasing to $650,000 from $400,000. He also has helped reduce the cost of print pieces by 46 percent.
Imbler's leadership and achievements have been a huge asset for the development and alumni relations team, which is pleased to see him recognized
with this much-deserved accolade.
