4-H programs in Alaska will team up with Joann Fabrics stores for a "Paper Clover Campaign" fundraiser in February. Supporters of the youth program can purchase $1 and $4 paper clovers that will include instructions for a special Valentine’s Day craft for customers to create. Proceeds from the campaign will directly support 4-H programs in Alaska. 4-H is coordinated in Alaska by the UAF Cooperative Extension Service.

The public is invited to join 4-H members at the stores from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 3 to make custom Valentine’s Day cards for those who need their day brightened. Each 4-H district will donate the cards to organizations in their communities.
