Valentine to serve as SNRAS Forest Sciences chair

Professor David Valentine is the newly elected chair of the School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences
Forest Sciences Department. Valentine earned his doctorate at Duke University in 1990.
He researches ecosystem ecology, biogeochemistry and element cycling in natural and
disturbed ecosystems.
