2013 Heart Walk raises over $31,000

UAF teams raised over $31,000 for the American Heart Association during this year's Heart Walk fundraiser. Thirteen UAF teams, comprised of 119 people, participated in the walk May 18. Among the teams that raised the most money was the Gee Wiz team from the Geophysical Institute, with over $12,000, surpassing their goal amount by $1,236.
