Academic Catalog programs and courses available for review

Memorandum from Mike Earnest, University Registrar & Director of Admissions to deans, directors and department chairs
As in years past, we are providing a link to all programs and course descriptions for the 2011 – 2012 UAF Academic Catalog for your review. Each department is responsible for reviewing both courses and program changes for the catalog and specifically checking the following:
- Are all program description and degree requirements accurate?
- Are all changes approved through the entire Faculty Senate process until March 1, 2011, correctly displayed?
Do not make any changes to course or program information unless there are errors that occurred in transferring data or officially approved changes are not accurately displayed.
If you find a legitimate error in course or program information:
- Please attach a copy of the approval documentation, including Provost’s approval, with the catalog copy when it is returned to the Office of Admissions and the Registrar.
- We will not make any change unless it is fully documented as being approved by the appropriate Faculty Senate body.
- We will not delay production of the catalog if it is necessary to check changes that are not legitimate errors or not approved through the appropriate process.
- During your review, please ignore page headers as they have not been finalized.
Please visit www.uaf.edu/catalog/proof/ to retrieve your academic units' programs and course descriptions for review.
We ask you to return your corrected copy to Anita Hughes at anita.hughes@alaska.edu in the Office of Admissions and the Registrar no later than Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
