Student groups can apply for a grant of up to $1,000 to help them adjust to a quickly changing landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will support projects that identify specific needs and improve campus opportunities for current students. The application deadline is Monday, Sept. 7.

If you are a student or work with a student organization, you are invited to make a request through the UAFAA Benefactor Fund Request Form.

The grants are available through the UAF Alumni Association. In July 2010, UAF alumni donated $3,000 to the UAFAA Benefactor Fund.

The UAFAA Benefactor Fund was established by the UAF Alumni Association in 1998 to encourage alumni to participate in an annual giving program that directly supports the university. It's a way for alumni and supporters to work together to make an impact in the lives of today's students.
