Lecture to focus on hydropower

The Alaska Center for Energy and Power at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a free public lecture on hydropower Monday, Nov. 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Noel Wien Library.

The lecture will include information on the Susitna hydro project, in-river power generation for rural Alaska, and how climate change affects renewable energy projects.

The lecture is part of a monthly series of community energy lectures.
