The Darwin Society at the University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a free public lecture Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. in Room 208 of the Gruening Building on the UAF campus.

The lecture, "To be (a Monkey) or not to be: How Evolution Designed Some Dangerous Thinking," will feature UAF associate professor Eduardo Wilner. He will discuss how the human mind is the result of evolutionary processes and what this means in daily life.
