B.S., Biological Sciences, University of Alaska Fairbanks (2006)

Research Interests
Molecular ecology, phylogeography, speciation and species limits, rates of molecular evolution, molecular techniques, conservation genetics

Alaskan research
Resolve the longstanding taxonomic uncertainty surrounding the Glacier Bay water shrew (Sorex alaskanus) and increase our understanding of its distribution and abundance using both field and molecular techniques.

Madagascar Research
Phylogeography and and conservation genetics of the aquatic tenrec (Limnogale mergulus) using DNA extracted from fecal pellets.
