Mammals from the Arctic and beyond
This collection contains over 100,000 specimens, mostly from Alaska and adjacent regions of Canada and Russia. There are world-class holdings of northern carnivores, including pinnipeds, and extensive chronological series of carnivores, shrews, and cricetid rodents. Tissues for more than 70,000 specimens are archived in Genomic Resources.
