Marketing and Communications maintains an expanding collection of quality photographs showcasing the people, facilities and activities at UAF.

Photo collection

The UAF campus community is welcome to include images from the online photo gallery for university-related publications, websites, presentations and other uses. Viewers are asked to submit an online image request form or contact Marketing and Communications photo manager Todd Paris at todd.paris@uaf.edu or 474-7939 for high-resolution copies suitable for publication.The images in the gallery are protected by copyright. Please don't use them without permission. Additional images are also available by contacting the Marketing and Communications photo manager.

Photo shoot requests

The Marketing and Communications photo manager can be contacted to request a photo shoot of university-affiliated events. Find out more about requesting a photo shoot or the criteria used to evaluate your request.

Model ReleaseModel releases
It is our policy that photos used in UAF presentations, publications, signage and advertising in print and/or the Internet must have the consent of identifiable individuals included in the photos in the form of a signed model release. Permission of persons obviously posing for a photo is implied, therefore no release is needed in such instances. Other exceptions include photos of individuals participating in a public performance (theatre, athletics, dance etc) or public crowd shots in which no individual is singled out.

Slide shows
Marketing and Communications maintains a brief slide show in Powerpoint for traveling faculty and administrators who want to present an overview of UAF. Copies are available on CD at the Marketing and Communications office in the Wells Fargo Building, and the University Relations office at 201 Eielson Building.
