Marketing and Communications maintains an expanding collection of quality photographs showcasing the people, facilities and activities at UAF.
The UAF campus community is welcome to browse and select images from the Marketing and Communications photo collection online photo collection for university-related publications, websites, presentations and other uses.
Those selecting images are asked to submit an online image request form or contact the Marketing and Communications photo manager at email@example.com or 474-7939 for high-resolution copies suitable for publication.
The images in the gallery represent a sampling of photos contained in a much larger catalog and additional images are also available upon request. All images online and in the general catalog are protected by copyright. Please don't use them without permission. Appropriate use of the UAF logo is required to use the images. Image requests are handled as quickly as possible but sometimes take several days to complete. Please plan ahead to accommodate a one-week turnaround time for most requests.
We've gathered a collection of iconic UAF images to make available for the purchase of frame-quality prints and other commercial products. This collection is available at the MC's UAF Photostore.
Photo shoot requests
The Marketing and Communications photo manager can be contacted to request a photo shoot of university-affiliated events. Find out more about requesting a photo shoot or the criteria used to evaluate your request.
If you are interested in having video shot, please fill out our video shoot request form.
It is our policy that photos used in UAF presentations, publications, signage and advertising in print and/or the Internet must have the consent of identifiable individuals included in the photos in the form of a signed model release. Permission of persons obviously posing for a photo is implied, therefore no release is needed in such instances. Other exceptions include photos of individuals participating in a public performance (theatre, athletics, dance etc) or public crowd shots in which no individual is singled out.
Marketing and Communications maintains a brief slide show in Powerpoint for traveling faculty and administrators who want to present an overview of UAF. Copies are available on CD at the Marketing and Communications office in the Wells Fargo Building, and the Fairbanks campus office at 201 Eielson Building.
