I joined the Communication Department Faculty in 1979. I have a B.S. in Literature from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Communication also from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Ph.D from Michigan State University.

My academic interests are Intercultural Communication, Communication and Language, Interpersonal Communication, and Communication Theory.

Faculty Academic & Research News:

Dr. Bob Arundale published a paper in the European journal, Pragmatics. He also submitted an abstract, co-authored with David Good, one of our Visiting Scholars from Spring '99, to the 7th International Pragmatics Assoc. in Budapest July 2000.
