Hi! My name is Riley, and I’m a second year student of junior standing. I’m from the rural fishing community of Seward, Alaska, where I spent my entire life prior to my high school graduation in May 2019.  I came to UAF the following fall and immediately became enamored with the University and everything it has to offer.  I became involved with student government and am now the current student body president (ASUAF), a member of the UAF Honors College, and I’m a theater kid at heart, so naturally I got involved with UAF’s production of Pride & Prejudice. Speaking of which, UAF’s Salisbury Theater is undoubtedly my favorite place on campus.  Becoming involved with different organizations and activities on campus has opened doors for me that I never knew existed, and at UAF I have made lifelong relationships with peers, faculty, and administrators.  I would love to talk with you more about all the amazing things UAF can offer you!
