Make Your Deposit
“Nanook” has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? So let's make it official!
By making your deposit, you save your seat in the incoming class at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. You’ll also get access to priority housing assignment, priority advising and registration, and many other student benefits. The sooner you confirm, the sooner you can get started!
How to pay using the UA Payment Portal
Your non-refundable $200 confirmation deposit at UAF will be applied as a payment toward your upcoming tuition bill. If your current balance in UAOnline is $0, you will see a credit on your account until you register for classes and your tuition and fees are posted. No action is needed on your part — the deposit will be automatically applied to your account.
Claim your UA Username and Password
Activate your UA Account — your key to logging in to computer services and electronic resources at UAF, including your UAF student email. You'll have one username and one password to get you into every University of Alaska service.
Log into the UA Payment Portal
After you read steps 3 and 4, click the yellow "Log into UA Payment Portal" button below.
Accept or Skip payment consent pages
UA is required to inform you about payment and refund policies. Since this is probably the first time you've logged into the UA payment portal, you'll be prompted to accept or skip several consent pages. If you choose to skip these pages now, you can pay your deposit without accepting.
Click the "Pay Deposit" button and enter credit card information
Look under your current account balance for the "Pay Deposit" button.
