Join us for a series of virtual sessions for students planning to transfer to the University of Alaska Fairbanks and those who've recently transferred within the University of Alaska.Attendees of any session will receive a code for a free application for admission to any UAF degree program.

Join us in-person for a Transfer Student Appreciation event! The UAF Transfer Credit team is hosting an informal meet and greet with refreshments at the 24-hour Study Area in the Elmer E. Rasmuson Library on Wednesday, Oct. 18, noon-2 p.m. We'd love to see you!
Monday, Oct. 16, 5-6 p.m. Alaska time (6-7 p.m. Pacific time)
Learn about the opportunities at UAF, majors and degree programs, the transfer credit
evaluation process and how to get started.
This session is intended for students who are interested in transferring to UAF, and
their families.
Tuesday, Oct. 17, 5-6 p.m. Alaska time (6-7 p.m. Pacific time)
UAF’s Transfer Credit team will go in-depth about the transfer process:
- How will your existing credits be applied to your UAF degree?
- How to get credit for certifications, tests and other alternate credit options.
- How to submit an appeal for your transfer credit report evaluation.
Wednesday, Oct. 18, 4-5 p.m. Alaska time (5-6 p.m. Pacific time)
The Department of Military and Veteran Services will cover the nuances of using your
GI bill and TA benefits, including the processes you’ll need to complete to certify
your courses and qualify for housing benefits.
This session is intended for students intending to use military/veteran benefits,
who are considering attending UAF.
Thursday, Oct. 19, 4-5 p.m. Alaska time (5-6 p.m. Pacific time)
Meet some of the support team at UAF — the advisors and experts who are here to help
you navigate transferring to UAF, financial aid and scholarships, advising and registration,
student success resources like tutoring, online course support and more.
This session is intended for those just starting out the transferring process, and
also those who are already attending UAF and have questions.
Friday, Oct. 20, 6-7 p.m. Alaska time (7-8 p.m. Pacific time)
This session is intended for students who are interested in transferring to the University
of Alaska Fairbanks from the University of Alaska Anchorage or the University of Alaska
Southeast and would like to know more about transferring within the UA system.
