Serena Allen showcases the prototype for the AirVitalize system at the REV: Ithaca Startup Works prototype hardware accelerator demo day

2023 Arctic Innovation Competition (AIC) winner Serena Allen, CEO of AirVitalize (formerly known as AiryCherry) is making big steps to advance their prototype! Their portable outdoor particulate air-purification system company — developed from research at the University of Southern California — has begun a new prototyping hardware accelerator. The LA-founded startup is participating in a 10-week program put on by NY-based REV: Ithaca Startup Works to take startups from concept to launch. Teams participate in three tracks: Classic, ClimateTech, or AgTech, working with industry experts, to determine the feasibility, desirability, and economic viability of their technology. AirVitalize is one of 18 startups undergoing intensive early-stage startup development consisting of customer discovery (learn more about UAF’s customer discovery program I-Corps), prototype development, and formal pitch training.
