Summer Sessions

UAF Summer Sessions offers a wide variety of academic opportunities to residents and visitors. Courses are open to undergraduate and graduate degree-seeking students, community members and qualifying high school students. Many courses in the baccalaureate core are available. Summer courses are compressed, enabling students to focus on fewer classes at a time. Summer Sessions hosts the Alaska Advanced Placement Institute each June for middle and high school teachers of AP and pre-AP courses. Year-round projects include the Alaska Discovery Workshops, with half- or full-day tours highlighting UAF campus and research. For information, contact Summer Sessions, 214 Eielson Building, telephone (907) 474-6451, or visit online at www.uaf.edu/summer/.
