Purpose
Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) is playing an ever-expanding role in everyday life, but also in medical research and healthcare. For example, AI/ML models can now detect skin cancer from a cell phone picture of a person’s skin.
Are you interested in discovering the research potential of using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning?
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) Research Services and the University of Alaska Fairbanks Center for Alaska Native Health Research (CANHR) are organizing a series of semi-monthly seminars and a hybrid symposium on Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and its possible use in improving Alaska Native health. The goals of the symposium are to:
- Introduce participants to AI/ML methods and current use in health research and healthcare
- Discover research and clinical opportunities for using AI/ML to improve Alaska Native health
