Lance Thompson, Resident Director

Lance is from Fairbanks, and is Koyukon Athabascan. His favorite part of the dorm is learning and growing with the rest of the community here. If you want to buy him off with food, his favorites are kiwis, mangos, peperoni and mushroom pizza, chicken alfredo, lasagna, nachos, salmon strips, and goldfish (the crackers, not the pets). When he is not consuming all of these things, Lance plays soccer, reads, and sleeps.

A favorite quote: "Having to constantly prove your value to others isn't what friendship is about." - Nico Robin

Contact Lance at the RD phone 455-3917, or the dorm duty phone 455-3903.

Alison Bankston, Resident Assistant

Alison Bankston is from beautiful sunny Barrow, Alaska, home of our farthest north beach. Her favorite part of the dorm is sharing food and good times with residents - and this lady can cook! Her favorite foods are Thai food (all of it), sushi, and falafel. She enjoys sun bathing (though I hear she searches for beaches with a more southern zip code), swinging, and sleeping.

A favorite quote: "Eat food, not too much, mostly plants." - Michael Pollen

Contact Alison at the dorm duty phone, 455-3903.

Ivik Henry, Resident Assistant

Ivik's hometown is Kotzebue. What he likes about the dorm is that we are our own community. His favorite foods are his mom's salsa, niqipiaq, and pretty much anything that tastes good! He is a big time knife collector, and enjoys hanging out with friends and family, and going on adventures in the great outdoors.

A favorite quote: "In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests, where, from ages long past, dwelt the spirits of the gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony, but as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed. Those that remained were guarded by gigantic beasts who owed their allegiances to the Great Forest Spirit. For those where the days of gods and of demons..." - Princess Mononoke
