Tim Murphrey recieved his BA in English with a minor in Alaska Native studies, as well as his M.Ed. at UAF.  He was a teacher in the FNSBSD for eight years, and has taught for the University for that time, as well.  He is currently working on his Ph.D., focusing on rural education in Alaska.

He is the Program Manager for the Eileen Panigeo MacLean House, and is also an academic advisor, targeting those students from the North Slope who are new to UAF.  Visit the Rural Student Services page to make an advising appointment with Tim.
