STATEMENT:
I first joined the faculty of the Alaska Native and Rural Development Department in the fall of 1996. I feel fortunate to be a part of an innovative statewide program that is addressing the needs of people living and working in rural Alaska. During my brief tenure, I have enjoyed teaching, setting up seminars, and being a part of our overseas program. We have an interesting group of graduate and undergraduate students who have already made major contributions to their community. With their degrees, and their expanded network of fellow students, I am sure they will continue to make our State a better place for all of us.
