>Extension will offer pesticide certification for pesticide applicators April 3-5. The training is available via videoconference in Anchorage, Delta Junction, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Kodiak, Soldotna and other communities as requested. Classes will meet from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with an exam scheduled after the training. The cost of the two-day sessions is $75 and covers all materials and testing. >The Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program is offering online courses on controlling the spread of invasive plants and exotic forest insect pests. The courses are available for continuing education units (CEUs) for professional licensure, but anyone can view the content for free.
