Do you know or are you a young entrepreneur in the Arctic region?
June 1, 2020
The Arctic Future Challenge is open for nominations. This youth entrepreneurship competition is centered in the Arctic regions of the eight Arctic nations.
UAF’s Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialisation and UAA’s Center for Economic Development are working together as ecosystem partners for Alaska and the USA.
The challenge focuses on young entrepreneurs, ages 18 – 29, studying in an educational institution or operating a business in the Arctic region.
The eight Arctic nations include Canada, Finland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands (the Kingdom of Denmark), Iceland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and the United States of America. Support for the program comes from the governments of Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Iceland, who have chosen to acknowledge youth as a key political priority.
Enter in one of three categories: (1) Arctic Youth Founder of the Year, (2) Arctic Youth Startup of the Year and (3) Best Arctic Youth Business Concept.
