NSF EPSCoR IoC: 2026 Academic Accelerator - Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Opportunity?
At the UAF Center for Innovation, we wanted to share details about our upcoming Academic Accelerator. Supported through the NSF EPSCoR project Interface of Change, we have a seven week set of workshops, with 1-hr a week.
What is an Academic Accelerator?
Each of these workshops is aimed to provide you with a session to prepare you for a new business venture, federal innovation funding, early-stage entrepreneurship programming in Alaska, and how to assess and evaluate the value of your innovation research and how to pitch your innovative solution to potential investors and end-users.
Who should apply and join?
Anyone from across University from Alaska with an innovative idea/project who wants to learn more about early-stage business practices and how to determine end-user needs and carry out effective stakeholder discovery.

Timeline and commitments: Applications are open now. Programming starts on Friday March 20th, 3 - 4 pm. There will be a 1-hr session each week. The last session is May 1st, 2026
