The Alaska Harvest Collaborative (AHC) seeks to:
- Create opportunities for work skills development and experiential learning
- Teach community members how to grow and prepare fresh, local food
- Empower people to participate in their local food system
- Enable healthy life choices by all Alaskans
- Build community around food systems
The Alaska Harvest Collaborative is impacting OUR community:
- Provides community learning garden spaces at the UAF Experimental Farm
- Annually donates over 5000 pounds of locally-produced, healthy food to the Food Bank, Breadline, and other organizations dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Fairbanks.
