| This advanced wilderness medicine certification course is a must for those who work or play in remote locations. | |||
| 23 | Evening Mountain Bike Ride** | $6 | $7 |
| Take advantage of the midnight sun and explore the local mountain bike trails around campus. This ride will include portions of the Skarland trails and Ballaine Hill trails with a fair amount of up and down riding. (Mountain bikes are available for this ride for $10 extra) | |||
| 25-27 | Far Mountain Backpacking *** | $116 | $139 |
| This is a great 30-mile loop that takes you up above tree line in the White Mountains. We will follow the ridge line and have great views for most of this hike which starts and ends at Chena Hot Springs. We will finish this three day backpacking trip off with a soak in the hot springs. | |||

| 2-3 | Upper Chatanika Overnight Float** | $81 | $97 |
| Get out on an early season float on the Chatanika river. We will float from mile 55 on the Steese Highway and camp out on a gravel bar along the way. We will then continue down to the state campground on the Steese. There is fun water to explore in our inflatable kayaks along this stretch of river. | |||

| Get out and enjoy a day of rock climbing at our local crag, Grapefruit Rocks. Never gone rock climbing? No problem we will provide the gear and expertise to enjoy this exciting outdoor activity. | |||
| 14-22 | Intro to Arctic Backpacking*** | $395 | $474 |
| This class is a week long backpacking trip into the remote Gates of the Arctic National Park. We will drive north of the Arctic Circle and learn about exploring and hiking in this isolated environment. We will cover trip logistics and planning before the trip. While out we will discuss navigation, route finding and river crossing and other aspects of hiking in the Arctic. | |||

| Enjoy the fantastic scenery of the Denali area. We will head up the Carlo Creek trail in the mountains just to the east of Denali National Park. | |||

| Come out and enjoy a day-long whitewater raft trip on the Nenana River. Raft the exciting Class II and class III waters from Grassy Knoll to Glitter Gulch. | |||
| June 30-July 5 | Yukon River Adventure* | $395 | $474 |
| We will float the majestic Yukon river from Dawson City to Eagle. We will bring you up to Dawson to celebrate Canada Day in this fun little town. We will hit the river and float through this historic gold country and back to the US and the little town of Eagle. (Trip price may be slightly lower if the Yukon Queen Shuttle runs this summer. Passports are required to go into Canada) | |||

| This glacier on the south side of the Delta Range is a great place for a day hike. We will cross Phelan Creek and head up onto the blue summer ice of the glacier. | |||
| 9-15 | Intro to Expedition Rafting** | $395 | $474 |
| Head out and float the beautiful Tazlina River off the Glen Highway. This river has some exciting Class II and III sections as well as some more mellow scenic stretches. Learn the art form of comfortable river rafting trips. Logistics, trip prep, river reading, camp selection and more will be taught on this awesome learning float. | |||

| Ever wanted to learn how to climb? This is your chance to learn and earn school credit! This one credit course will teach you the essentials you need to get out and enjoy rock climbing. The class is taught in the gym and outside on real local rock. Come soak up some sun and enjoy some great climbing. . | $100 Feild Fee | ||
| 18 | Evening Angel Rocks Hike* | $26 | $31 |
| Enjoy this moderate local day hike. We will take our time on this 3-mile loop while enjoying the great views and unique rock formations during this long daylight evening. | |||
| 28-29 | Granite Tors Overnight** | $80 | $95 |
| This scenic hike is a local favorite. We will head up and camp out near the rocks before we head around and finish this nice 16-mile hike the next day. If it is warm enough a quick jump in the Chena River will cool off the hottest hiker at the trailhead. | |||

| 3-5 | Field Methods of Glaciology* | 1 Credit | |
| This course is an introduction to field techniques for monitoring glaciers changes. The class will involve classroom discussion as well as a three day field trip onto the Gulkana glacier during which you get to explore the methods of learning about glaciers in the field. | $225 Field Fee | ||
| 11 | Berry Picking Day Hike* | $17 | $21 |
| Get out into the late summer tundra and pick the bounty of blueberries found on our local trails to the north of town. | |||
| 12 | Nenana Raft* | $59 | $71 |
| If you missed the last raft trip come out and enjoy a day-long whitewater raft trip on the Nenana River. Raft the Class II And Class III waters from Grassy Knoll to Glitter Gulch. | |||

Refund Policy:
Payment in full is required to sign up for a trip. A 100% refund is available if you notify the Outdoor Adventures Office of the cancellation more than one week (7 days) before the first day of the trip. Cancellation less than one week before trip entitles the participant to a 50% refund. No refund is provided if the participant does not show up at the start of a trip.
