Fees
- There is a $50 fee associated with each application
- We accept late applications up to one month after initial deadline for the Spring and Fall terms only. There is an additional $30 late fee for late applications.
Graduation Services at a Glance
Graduation Documentation Deadlines: Spring 2013
Undergraduate Degree/Certificate Candidates:
- April 26, 2013 - Petitions, Memos, & Advisor Approvals
- May 3, 2013 - All UAF Correspondence Coursework (including the final) MUST be completed
(This applies to Year and Semester Based Correspondence Study courses)
All Degree Candidates:
- February 15, 2013 - Application of Graduation are due
- April 26, 2013 - Change of Grade Forms for any Incomplete/Deferred grades are due
- May 12, 2013 - Official Transcripts from Other Institutions are due
(Including coursework that you recently completed or are currently enrolled in that has not been transferred to UAF)
Graduate Degree Candidates:
- October 15, 2012 (the semester before you graduate) - Advancement to Candidacy is due to the Graduate School
- April 7, 2013 - Thesis (Post-Defense Copy) is due with the Graduate School
- April 24, 2013 - Graduate Reports are due with the Graduate School
( These include, but are not limited to: Report on Comprehensive Exams, Research Tool or Language, Project Defense, Thesis Defense, Graduate Petition Form) - Other Graduate School Dates and Deadlines

When to apply for graduation?
Graduation Services does not provide advising
Please work with your advisor, and use DegreeWorks, to determine if you are ready for graduation.
DegreeWorks is UAF's online undergraduate graduation tool and degree audit. It provides information on your undergraduate degree requirements and helps you plan your remaining semesters at UAF. Work closely with your advisor to discuss graduation requirements and course selection.
Questions or discrepancies regarding your remaining degree requirements listed in DegreeWorks should be addressed with your advisor.
