Stampede Trail Ski
Come with us "Into the Wild" on this day ski out the Stampede Trail! We will follow the scenic trail that that lies just outside the border of scenic Denali National Park. The mountains and wildlife are spectacular on this wilderness trail!
Pedro Dome Snowshoe
Follow the historic steps of Felix Pedro on this scenic snowshoe hike. Pedro Dome overlooks the Tanana and Chatanika rivers valleys and has great views of the Alaska Range to the south!
Big Events in February!
Winter Gear Swap: Doors open Saturday, February 4th at 1PM
Each year Outdoor Adventures and the Alaska Alpine Club host the Annual Winter Gear Swap. Gear to be sold can be dropped off at Outdoor Adventures the weeks before the event or that Saturday morning 10AM - Noon. 10% from each sale goes to benefit the Alaska Alpine Club. This is a great place to find not only winter outdoor gear but also biking equipment, paddling gear and climbing equipment.
Banff Mountain Film Festival: February 19th at 6PM in the Davis Concert Hall
The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is the Sundance Festival of outdoor films. Each year we bring the tour to Fairbanks and sample the year's footage. This year's show date is a bit later to avoid Super Bowl Sunday. Tickets are on sale at Beaver Sports and the UAF Wood Center.

Lunch Skis with OA
When the Snow Flies!!
Come out and ski every Tuesday and Friday from noon to 2pm. This is both a ski lesson and a ski group for everyone. It will be great for someone who is just starting out or someone who needs a few tips to make themselves a smoother skier. Cost is $5 and ski rental is included. Meet a few minutes before 12pm at the Outdoor Adventures office dressed for skiing and we will hit the trails from here
