Welcome to the Office of Sponsored Programs!

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) oversees the administration of sponsored programs for UAF at the pre-award level. OSP operates through delegation of authority from the Chancellor as a unit of the Center for Research Services.
At OSP, we believe that our investigators are the moving force behind the success of UAF's research enterprise, and it is our mission to help them get that job done.

OSP offers a wide range of services including:

  • Providing information about potential federal, state, and private sources of funding;
  • Assistance in the development of high-quality proposals that meet sponsor criteria;
  • Assistance with proposal preparation, including budget development;
  • Providing final UAF authorization on all proposals to be submitted to sponsors;
  • Acting as a liaison between the university and sponsors concerning pre-award issues;
