_____Computer with printer (Note: If you do not have a computer, there are several
computer labs located across campus for students to use and there are a few who
have free printing.)
_____Paper for printer
_____Ethernet cable (there is also wireless Internet available across campus)
_____Stapler & staples
_____Envelopes preaddressed by parent & stamps
_____Prescription medicines and copies of the prescriptions
_____Eyeglasses (extra pair)
_____Posters, photographs, etc.
_____Sticky wall mounts and removable adhesive hooks (non-marking).
_____Dry-erase board and marker (You’ll want this so people can leave you messages on
_____Date book and/or address book
_____First aid kit, including basic adhesive bandages, disinfectant, aspirin, etc.
_____A cup, plate, bowl, fork, knife and spoon
_____Mugs & glasses (only a couple)
_____Small bottle of dish soap and small dishcloth and towels
_____Sheets (twin, long size)
Note: Residence Life sells a "linen packet" that includes a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, a pillow, a pillowcase and one hand, face and bath towel.

A common area television lounge, common kitchen area on the main floor (no kitchen utensils are supplied), and laundry facilities are also part of the residential halls.
If you feel like there is a lot to bring on this list, don't panic. You are not required to bring everything; they are just suggestions. Also, if you feel you need some things but don't have room, you can always mail them to the dorm and pick them up when you get here, or buy items on campus or at stores in Fairbanks.
