flyer contains same basic info as announcementInspiring Girls Expeditions seeks a UAF undergraduate student in STEM or fine arts with a desire to work with an inspiring team of scientists, artists and outdoor guides to make this year's programs a success.

Inspiring Girls Expeditions empowers young women to lead and succeed through science, art, and wilderness exploration. Each summer the program leads tuition-free multi-day expeditions for high school girls led by women scientists, artists, and wilderness guides. In small groups, the participants design and conduct scientific projects which they then report on during the last day of their trip. The Alaska branch organizes three expeditions each summer: Girls in the Forest, Girls on Water and Girls on Ice Alaska.
