UAF Faculty Accelerator, the new hub for faculty development at UAF, is hosting a virtual writing retreat on Fridays in October. Apply for a spot to kickstart a new or tabled writing/publication project of your choice!

This retreat is open to faculty, staff and graduate-level or higher students who need support in a writing project. Participants will select from two three-hour writing slots on Fridays (8-11 a.m. or 1-4 p.m.), and, with some facilitation from retreat leaders, will work through their own project week by week. The retreat will include opportunities for collaboration and feedback on writing projects.

Participants will receive a trash can filled with writing gifts. The trash can is for you to gather up everything that clutters up your writing area and throw it in the bin! It’s time to get to work.

Apply for one of 10 spots before Sept. 28. For more information, contact Kendell Newman Sadiik at klnewman4@alaska.edu or Sarah Stanley at sstanley2@alaska.edu.

UAF Faculty Accelerator is composed of sponsors from across UAF who collaborate and coordinate faculty development events of all kinds. This retreat is sponsored by the Provost's Faculty Development Team, eCampus and the Vice Provost's Office.
