Gender-affirming support group

The Student Health and Counseling Center is offering a support group every Thursday for students who identify as nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, gender nonconforming, trans-identifying or gender questioning.

This group is for currently enrolled students (undergraduate and graduate) and is designed to be a safe and confidential space to talk, explore, support, challenge, and just be present in your gender identity without having to explain, educate, or fear judgment. This group is a place to express yourself at present and to engage with others in the spirit of openness, celebration and connection.

The group meets Thursdays from 1-2 p.m. Jan. 14-March 11. All meetings will be held via Zoom. Email uaf-sh-cc@alaska.edu for the meeting link and password.
