Large image view: Amchitka's nuclear legacy

Anna Forsstrom collected global positioning survey (GPS) measurements at the Cannikin site on Amchitka Island. These measurements provided data about deformation of the ground associated with active faulting on and near the island. Observers are, from the left, Martyn Unsworth, Volkan Tuncer and Wolfgang Soyer.
