The 2016 Global Change Student Research Grant Competition guidelines are now available at www.cgc.uaf.edu/student_grant/competition.html, or in hardcopy from the Graduate School (202 Eielson) or URSA (301 Bunnell). Graduate students may submit proposals for up to $10,000 for one year, while undergraduates are eligible for up to $7,500. The guidelines have changed a bit this year, and graduate students should take note of the funding priorities for the 2016 competition cycle. Deadline to submit proposals is February 5, 2016. THE 2016-17 DISSERTATION AND THESIS COMPLETION FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION PERIOD IS NOW OPEN.
The Graduate School is pleased to announce the 2016-2017 Dissertation and Thesis Completion Fellowships for full-time graduate students planning to graduate during the fall of 2016 and/or spring of 2017. These highly competitive awards are intended to support students that will be without a source of funding to support thesis writing. Ph.D. students normally receive preference in the selection process.
Please note that this fellowship is intended for students who will have no other form of funding for this time period (scholarships and/or financial aid are excluded from this constraint).
