Benson, who is certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, will discuss how small, sustainable changes in grocery-buying habits can lead to big results in health and energy, as well as save money.

    Chelsea San Roman, a farm and research technician at the Matanuska Experiment Farm in Palmer, will share stories and experiences from the 2025 Circumpolar Agriculture Conference in Tromsø, Norway, in a talk originally scheduled for Dec. 8. The new date is Wednesday, Jan. 14, from noon-1 p.m.
