New Ag/Hort Agent for Tanana District Announced

UAF Cooperative Extension Service welcomes a new agriculture/horticulture agent to the Tanana District Office.

Steve Seefeldt will begin his new position June 18. He currently works as a research agronomist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service.

The Eighth Annual Sustainable Agriculture Conference was a huge success this year, drawing more than 225 people from 24 communities throughout Alaska. The conference took place March 13–15 at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge.
