Responsible research means staying for tea.
Welcome to the Center for Alaska Native Health Research. We embrace a collaborative research model while working with Alaska Native communities, organizations and individuals. At every stage of CANHR research, faculty and staff work with tribal groups and health care agencies to frame research questions, develop methodologies and procedures, and to interpret and apply data to prevention and treatment.
CANHR Clinical Research Facility
The CANHR research clinic is now open! The clinic is located in Arctic Health Research Building, Room 105, on the UAF campus at 901 North Koyukuk Drive.
Completed in 2012, it is home to metabolic, physical activity and phlebotomy labs, a nutrition research suite, and a video conference room. The construction of this clinic was made possible by a 2010 NIH ARRA award to renovate space within the Arctic Health Research Building to create our clinical research facility.
For more information or scheduling the video conference room, please contact Maria Russell at (907) 474-6230.
For more information on usage of the clinic, please contact Scarlett Hopkins at (907) 474-5693, email@example.com.
