Academic Year 20-21 Semester Guidance for VA Benefited (Chapter 31 and 33) Students
The VA has stated that for Chapter 31 and 33 only classes that were originally "in person" and then converted to "online" will be counted as "in person". If students (you) want to receive the full housing stipend for the Academic Year 20-21, VA students must pick one of the classes from the spring converted list (converted from face to face to online) or enroll in an "in person" class that has remained in person or in a class that has a portion of the class "in person" to be certified as having an in person/resident class. This provision goes through December, 2021.
Classes are being added often so this class list will be updated as more classes are identified so please check back if you don't see the class you want.
During this time, we strongly suggest you work closely with your academic advisors to create your fall schedule. A copy of this list has been provided to them as well. We will continue to update you as changes occur so please check your UAF email often.
